Zachary Campos drops an anthem for everyone stuck in traffic

Zachary Campos is an MC, singer, and songwriter from San Jose, California. His music is a unique combination of old-school hip-hop from the 1980s, classic punk rock from the 1970s, and indie rock from the 2000s. Zachary has refined his skills while delighting a variety of audiences by performing at assisted living facilities and wineries for a living. His music is genuine and accessible, drawing from his environment and life experiences. He extends an invitation to his listeners to accompany him on a resilient and self-discovering journey with every song, one moving verse at a time. Traffic is an indie rock anthem about how much Zachary despises traffic. In his own words "I have to drive on the highway pretty much every day to get to my gigs. I see the worst drivers cutting people off left and right. I thought it would be awesome to write a song about my frustration with driving on the highway and with other drivers. The one good thing about being stuck in traffic for me is listening to music, which is mentioned in the song. A big spark of inspiration for this song came from James Taylor’s song “Traffic Jam” off of his 1977 JT album. Traffic is off of my new indie rock/alternative rap album Funky MC, available for streaming Friday March 29th, 2024"

LYRICS: Traffic makes me lose my mind Other drivers not so kind They’re in a rush to get home Other drivers leave me alone I drive my car on the highway That’s what I did today Music helps to calm me down With some nice surround sound Driving where I need to go Driving to get to the show
