Sam Kasirer-Smibert received a DEC in Fine Arts from Dawson college in 2013. His first solo show, entitled "Atro Versiamo" at the age of 22 at Victoria Hall Art Gallery featured 16 abstract paintings. He is currently completing his BFA at Concordia University. He completed a two week long artist residency at Artscape Gibraltar Point, where the idea for "Internal Spelunking" came to fruition, and opened his second solo show in October of 2017 at Montreal's Jacuzzi Club.
